ASV Services
At ASV Services, safety and quality are at the core of everything we do. As a trusted provider of heavy trailers and utility trailers, we understand that our customers rely on dependable equipment to transport valuable cargo, operate businesses, and complete important projects.
Our commitment goes beyond simply selling trailers. We are dedicated to promoting safe hauling practices, offering reliable equipment, and standing behind the products we provide. This Safety & Guarantee policy outlines our approach to product safety, customer responsibility, and our commitment to quality.
Our Commitment to Safety
Trailers play a critical role in transportation, construction, landscaping, agriculture, and recreational activities. When properly used and maintained, they are safe and efficient tools. However, improper operation, overloading, or inadequate maintenance can result in serious risks.
At ASV Services, we are committed to:
- Providing structurally sound and dependable trailers
- Encouraging safe loading and towing practices
- Educating customers on proper usage
- Supporting responsible ownership
We strongly encourage every customer to review their vehicle’s towing capacity, understand weight distribution requirements, and follow all applicable local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Equipment Quality Standards
Every trailer we offer is selected with durability and performance in mind. We prioritize trailers that are designed to withstand demanding conditions and regular use.
Our focus includes:
- Reinforced frames and structural integrity
- Secure hitch and coupling systems
- Reliable braking components (where applicable)
- Durable flooring and decking materials
- Functional lighting and electrical systems
While manufacturers design trailers for strength and reliability, safe operation ultimately depends on proper use, maintenance, and compliance with load limits.
Pre-Delivery Inspection
Before a trailer is released to a customer, we conduct a general inspection to confirm that visible components are properly assembled and functional at the time of sale.
This inspection may include:
- Tire condition and inflation check
- Lighting system verification
- Hitch and coupling review
- Basic structural observation
Customers are also encouraged to conduct their own inspection prior to accepting delivery or pickup. If any concerns are identified, they should be addressed before the trailer leaves our premises.
Customer Responsibility for Safe Operation
Safe trailer operation is a shared responsibility. Once a trailer is purchased and delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for proper use and maintenance.
We recommend the following safety practices:
1. Verify Towing Capacity
Always ensure that your towing vehicle is rated to handle the trailer’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and intended load.
2. Distribute Weight Properly
Improper weight distribution can cause sway, braking issues, and loss of control. Follow recommended guidelines for even load placement.
3. Secure Cargo
Use appropriate tie-down straps, chains, and restraints to secure cargo safely. Unsecured loads can shift and create dangerous driving conditions.
4. Conduct Regular Maintenance
Routine maintenance should include:
- Checking tire pressure and tread
- Inspecting wheel bearings
- Testing lights and wiring
- Examining brake systems (if equipped)
- Inspecting couplers and safety chains
5. Follow Local Laws
Comply with all state and federal towing regulations, including licensing, safety chains, braking requirements, and lighting standards.
ASV Services is not responsible for accidents, damage, or injuries resulting from improper use, overloading, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow safety guidelines.
Limited Product Guarantee
ASV Services stands behind the quality of the trailers we sell. We guarantee that, at the time of delivery, each trailer is free from known material defects and visible structural issues.
Our guarantee includes:
- Delivery of the trailer in working condition
- Disclosure of known product details
- Transparent communication about specifications
This guarantee applies at the time of sale and does not extend to damage caused by misuse, overloading, accidents, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or environmental exposure.
Manufacturer Warranties
Many trailers sold by ASV Services may include manufacturer warranties covering specific components or structural elements. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and model.
Manufacturer warranties may cover:
- Structural frame components
- Axles and suspension
- Electrical components
- Hydraulic systems (if applicable)
Warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer’s policies and procedures. Customers are responsible for reviewing warranty documentation provided at the time of purchase.
ASV Services does not independently extend additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer unless explicitly stated in writing.
Exclusions from Guarantee
The following situations are not covered under our safety guarantee:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage after delivery
- Tire wear or punctures
- Damage due to improper towing vehicle
- Damage caused by overloading
- Accidents, collisions, or road hazards
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Failure to perform routine maintenance
Once a trailer leaves our facility, ongoing care and safe operation are the responsibility of the owner.
Modifications and Alterations
Customers who choose to modify their trailer after purchase do so at their own risk. Alterations such as welding, structural changes, aftermarket installations, or electrical modifications may void manufacturer warranties and compromise safety.
We strongly recommend consulting with qualified professionals before making any structural or mechanical modifications.
ASV Services is not liable for issues arising from unauthorized alterations.
Reporting Safety Concerns
If a customer believes their trailer has a structural defect or safety concern present at the time of purchase, they should notify ASV Services promptly.
We may request:
- Photos or documentation
- Inspection of the trailer
- Review of purchase records
If a verified issue is determined to have existed at the time of sale, we will work toward an appropriate resolution consistent with manufacturer guidelines and applicable policies.
No Guarantee of Specific Performance
While our trailers are designed for strength and durability, ASV Services does not guarantee specific performance outcomes under all conditions. Performance depends on:
- Proper towing vehicle compatibility
- Road conditions
- Load distribution
- Maintenance practices
- Driving behavior
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their trailer is suitable for their intended application before purchase.
Commitment to Customer Education
We believe informed customers are safer customers. Our team is available to answer questions regarding:
- Load capacity
- Trailer dimensions
- Weight ratings
- Basic towing requirements
We encourage all buyers to fully understand their trailer’s capabilities before use.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASV Services shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of income or business
- Property damage caused after delivery
- Personal injury resulting from misuse or improper operation
Purchasers assume full responsibility for compliance with safety regulations and appropriate usage after transfer of ownership.
